There are many events, circumstances, and other happenings that do not make sense from an earth plane reality. For example, birth defects, horrible events, murder, accidents, and so on. The issue is why do these things happen.

If you have the premise that there is a creator and he has made all things, then the creator is aware of the many happenings that do not seem to make sense. So why does the creator let horrible things happen to humans? For example, a birth defect where a child is born without legs?

Now the assumption is the creator is aware that this will happen, the birth defect. In many psychic books, religions, and groups of people it is also explained that the person leaving the realm of spirit and coming to the earth plane, in most cases is aware of the birth defect.

So the idea is the creator and the spirit are aware that the individual will be born in the earth world with a birth defect. This means there is a purpose and the birth defect is not a random chance event. So what is the purpose of the birth defect; what can be understood?

Usually, the caretakers and the person with the birth defect learn such attributes as care and perseverance. So one understanding of birth defects is it can build character. This may seem cruel, but if life is eternal, then an earth life is a blink in time, but character building can be eternal in value.

Therefore, from the perspective of eternal life, many events on earth help to build values such as light, love, harmlessness, generosity, contribution, consideration, and many other worthy values. The short-term events that are usually undesirable, are short term and over quickly in relation to eternal time.

Dr. Bob is mentioned on this web site many times. He was a M.D. internal medicine, orthomolecular doctor, M.D. psychiatrist, chiropractor, and healer 65 years. He was a diabetic who lived to 108 years. He was also psychic and I was aware firsthand, of at least 4 psychic abilities.

Dr. Bob said the key viewpoint in explaining events that do not seem to make sense, is the perspective of time. He said the Creator's plan is for all living things to move to the light, respect each other, learn to love all, and other values that are close to the Creator's designs for all living things. Birth defects, murder, and many other events lead to great change. Many change for the better and many change for the worst. The ones that become better persons will receive blessings of Spirit and the ones that become worse will need additional lessons in order to move toward the light. The lessons can last longer than one lifetime, including time in the spirit realm and the material realm. In the light of one lifetime many events do not make sense. If viewed over a longer period of time than one lifetime, the events would make sense as a method to make better spirits.

For example, consider how a school is setup. There are students in different grades, better students in different classes, teachers, principles and higher authorities, government, rewards and punishments, and other aspects. If a student does well he is usually advanced to the next level. If a student does poorly he stays back. If a student does average he may advance, but most likely will have difficulty at the next level. So human intelligence usually rewards excellence and does not reward poor accomplishment. Similarly, a person born with a birth defect is in class, but the classroom is the earth plane reality made by the Creator. He can advance, stay average, or remain poor. However, when school is over the person will be known for their performance and this will affect status outside school. The earth is a school for spirits in human form. We are in class. It is our responsibility to perform well and this is our duty.

So when faced with events that we do not understand, be aware that the Creator is testing us and we should desire to do well. This is the lesson of events that make no sense at all; they are a method to make better spirits so all may advance to the light of the Creator. When we fail to take advantage of the opportunity to advance, then like the school classroom, do not expect rewards after this life.

One more point to keep in mind. When we come to the earth plane, many of the horrible events that my happen to us, are known by us before we come to the earth plane. What does this mean? It means from the higher perspective of the spirit realm, where more information is available to us, the many events on earth that seem unexplainable and horrible, are understood to have a purpose to make better spirits. So remember every event is an opportunity to get closer to the light of creation. Everything that happens, the good, the bad, and the ugly are a way for us to advance in spirit. We came here for a purpose and the failure to discover our purpose means we might be left behind to do it again, while classmates would move on to higher levels of learning (understanding and wisdom).

Remember we are in a school and there is not anything that happens that is not understood by the higher realm of spirit. Until we get to the spirit realm where things will become clear, strive to become a better person, whether we learn to give more, learn to love children, learn to overcome dark passions, learn to avoid temptations, and many other ideas that will make us a better spirit when the times comes to become spirit.

This lifetime is a preparation for our eternal life. Take advantage of the time spent on earth by doing worthy thing. Help others to achieve the same ideas. Good luck to all and my heaven's blessings be yours.
